Eukiah is STANDING, climbing and almost ready to walk! Holy wow - that happened a lot faster than I was expecting! He’s only just barely 8-months-old. Since I wasn’t quite ready for him to be upright, I didn’t realize he would be trying to pull himself up on anything and everything: chairs, ottomans, tables - ME, lol. I love our Little Balance Box because it’s a safe height and more effective way to help him transition to walking. He can maneuver table at his own speed and also use to to bang his toys at the same time (something he does on everything).

I was confused when Eukiah started drooling and biting everything all of a sudden - at 2 and half months? There’s no way he could be TEETHING?! But that’s exactly what was happening. Like most babies who experience teething pain, Eukiah wanted to put anything in his mouth. I wanted to make sure that what he was teething on was safe for babies. When Eukiah was only 3-months-old we braved our first airport travel experience together, solo! Packing for an out-of-state trip with a baby was quite a task! What do I bring? I'm in love with the BLK Sheep BIKI bag collection! These vegan, waterproof bags are excellent for the beach, the gym and my favorite - as a diaper bag for baby.  Since they are as stylish as they are utilitarian, I feel fashionable wherever I am.  Add a scarf or a charm for the finishing touch! 

Tranquilo Mat is a portable, soothing mat that we use to help Eukiah transition into the crib and bassinet more easily. The mat mimics the mother's womb by providing constant motion and sound, activating a baby’s calming response. The vibrations also generate a humming white noise. Our large Tranquilo Mat helped us a lot with the bassinet that we keep upstairs as it mimics the vibrating sensation from the rocker we use in the nursery. It should also help when Eukiah begins teething!
