2021 was a spectacular year for me! Despite how this year is ending with sickness on the rise, cancelled travel + events, and the familiar fears of a prolonged pandemic creeping in - I have to stay positive. Especially in this space, I always strive to keep my voice uplifted and focused on gratitude for the highlights.
So, as I reflect back on this past year, I am grateful for the abundance of JOY, love, growth and experiences I had. Every moment we share on this earth is a gift and I am counting my blessings. In 2021 I got to:
Spend more quality time with the friends and the family “behind the scenes” that I don’t share much on IG. I feel so grounded by their consistency in showing up for me every day and wealthy in the relationships that matter the most.
Watch my son blossom into a vivacious, funny, terrifyingly intelligent and aware, empathetic, sensitive and kind little human. The “3s” have been a total rollercoaster but his growth has caused me to grow into a better version of myself and more of the woman that I want to be.
Buy a new house in a wonderful neighborhood!
Thrive in multiple careers. Work abounded and I got an abundance of new clients
Start a new career in television! Thanks to my savage friend @alexacurtis I dove into this fun new field and went from zero to 9 TV segments in one year, my highlight moment being on @NowThis News.
Travel all over the world again and within the beautiful US.
Help others, give back, and practice selflessness with some of my favorite nonprofit organizations.
I had FUN! I danced and roller skated with reckless abandon in the company of my favorite friends.
In between all of this, I also worked diligently to complete a secret project. I wrote a book! It will still be a few months before it’s published and released, but I can’t wait to share it with you in 2022.
Ending out this year, I’m infinitely grateful for each and every person here who engages with me on IG. Life is overwhelming enough and so I always try to bring a little joy and personal connection to every interaction through my page. I hope you have felt that here.
Here’s to making new memories in 2022!
