Feeling grounded at last because we finally moved into our NEW HOUSE! 🏡🔑 The last 20-years I moved all over the world through 6 foreign countries, 5 US States and I’ve got to be honest - I’m exhausted. The adventure has been 100% worth the thrill, but adding a baby/toddler into the mix the last few years caused me to need a sense of stability and roots. California has always been my home and, for all of its many flaws, I’ve never been happier to be here. Actually relocating to and living in other places (versus just vacationing) gave me such a different perspective that now I truly appreciate what it means to live and thrive in SoCal. ☀️🌊
Through all the traveling and moving I’ve learned how to live out of 2 suitcases and a backpack 🧳 But I’ve become such an extreme minimalist that I have nothing to fill this new space with! I have absolutely zero interior design skills and we also have some serious remodelling to do. In my stories people have suggested services like Modsy, Spacejoy and Havenly but it all seems a bit overwhelming. I think I’ll just camp out in the backyard for now. At least Eukiah is enjoying the ruckus 😆🏗
