My son was excited about Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile from the moment he saw the first trailer, so when we had the opportunity to attend a private screening of the movie at Soho House, I knew I had to go for it. You guys, my son had so much fun. And you know what? So did I.
An Evening with Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile
What made this particular screening so much fun is that it was so much more than just watching a fun, family-friendly movie, Before the show, we were treated to a magic show, which Eukiah really loved. After the magic show, we watched the movie, which was just as adorable as it looked in all the trailers that we saw.
I decided I was going to make an entire evening of it, so I booked a hotel, and we had snacks to make it extra special. The combination of a room with a great view up high, a magic show, a fun movie with popcorn, and snacks made for an evening that my son is never going to forget. It’s the kind of thing kids look back on when they’re all grown up and remember fondly. Which of course, is what I try to create for him all the time.
The Movie
Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile is so full of heart. It’s loaded with feels that are age-appropriate, and there’s enough excitement to keep even younger kids engaged. I know that Eukiah couldn’t stop looking at the screen from start to finish.
I love the movie because it’s an exciting romp that’s as adorable as it is touching. It’s one of those movies that everyone in the family will enjoy. That’s good because if your kids are anything like mine when they find something they like, they want to watch it about 50 billion times.
We loved the movie, and I know your family will, too. Big news, it’s out on Digital, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD Tuesday, December 13th. I cannot encourage you to snag it enough. It’s just so good!
