It is officially a Hot MAMA summer! After keeping our families together during the impossible circumstances of the pandemic, Moms have proven to be some of the most essential people on the planet. As we reemerge out of our homes and out of our sweatpants, I think Moms deserve to feel stylish and bright while we manage getting back up to pace.  Most Moms are multihyphenates (like me!), wearing many different hats throughout the day, and the clothing we wear can make it easier or more difficult to manage these tasks. So, the five looks I put together are all multifunctional, utilitarian and easy on the budget – but they are also stylish and fun!

Look 1: Multitasking Mom

This every-day Mom look is all about being able to transition easily between running errands, kid activities, work, zoom meetings and everything in between. It’s easy to spot a multitasking Mom, because she’s usually wearing jeans or sweats, a throw-on top and has lots of pockets! I like this twist on the casual multitasker look, because it doesn’t present like just another pair of sweats. The cowl-neck top and pretty fabric are classy enough to wear on a zoom meeting and the pleated seam down the front of the pants give it a more dressed-up look. Still easy to throw on and run with the day!

Look 2: Office Professional Mom

This whole office look is a vibe! I love the racer neck bodysuit that I can throw a blazer on top of and the high-waisted satin pants. It’s an overall classy, professional look that is perfect for in the office as well as an after-work business dinner.

I also picked out some Zenni glasses to match with this look, because when you’re in front of the computer all day, chances are that you are wearing glasses. Zenni is the industry leader in offering high-quality, prescription glasses and sunglasses and they have more than 3,000 fun styles to choose from starting as low as $7. Extremely affordable!

Look 3: Date Night

Anytime a Mom gets to go out on a date it is a great excuse to dress up and feel sexy! My go-to look for date nights is a body con dress because this style is flattering on every figure and accentuates all the right places. This dress also features side rouching, which is a great trend because you can adjust the length of the dress to your comfort level. Throw on some tie-up sandals and you’re ready for date night!

My favorite feature of this dress is that it’s made from recycled material! Missguided uses post-consumer polyester waste, like plastic bottles and textile waste, to produce some of their clothing. Anytime I can find sustainable clothing that use less water, less energy and less waste, it makes me feel even better when I wear it.

Look 4: Weekend Mom

The 90’s are back and I am here for the lewks! Floral prints, chunky sandals and puff sleeves are on-trend right now and these are all mom-friendly features as well. This summer wrap dress is great for attending kids’ birthday parties, family picnics and brunches because we are back outside! I paired these with green, cat-eye sunglasses from Zenni to add a pop of complimentary color from the dress.

Look 5: Water Fun

Burnt orange is a beautiful color that looks great on every skin tone and no wonder it is trending. This crinkle fabric swimsuit has supportive underwire and multiple options for matching bottoms. I personally like to cover up a little when I’m running around on the beach or by the swimming pool, so the cheesecloth sarong is easy to tie around your waist and it makes the entire outfit.

Maybe my favorite part of this look is the fun silver, tie-up sandals! I always choose footwear that is easy to run around in and I like the tie-ups because they are less likely to fly off.  Throw on some aviators and enjoy the sunshine Mama!
