Seeing Spookley the Square Pumpkin was probably the highlight of my son, Eukaih’s year. We’ve become huge fans of the books and the related animated series, so when I heard about a Spookley meet and greet, I knew I had to take my son.
Spookley at the Pumpin Patch
What made seeing Spookley the Square Pumpkin even better for both me and my son was the fact that it was being held in a pumpkin patch! I don’t know about you, but I love going to pumpkin patches. It’s not an exaggeration to say that I go to every pumpkin patch in Southern California. I really do!
While we were there, Eukiah got to meet his favorite character, Spookley. We also found a ton of Spookley books to take home, which really excited Eukiah. The patch itself was wonderful. There were so many pumpkins everywhere along with hay bales and fun activities. The only thing Eukiah loved as much as meeting Spookley was taking flight in a band-assisted jumper.

The smile on Eukiah’s face when he met Spookley is something I won’t ever forget. There couldn’t be a better combination than Spookley and the pumpkin patch! Did any of you out there hit the pumpkin patches this season?
